About Me - Sophia Javed

Hi, I'm Sophia! I'm 17 years old and I'm currently studying Computer Programming at Sheridan College. One of my favourite courses this semester is math. I like math because it combines Boolean logic and algebra to solve complex problems related to computers. I also like Web Development, since I get to explore my creative side and build websites.

Fun fact about me—I love reading! While I've read my share of romance and fantasy novels back in high school, I've recently become interested in psychological thrillers. So far, I've read The Silent Patient, None of This is True, Then She Was Gone, The Guest List, Dear Child, Never Lie and my personal favourite, Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney. I found that well-written psychological thrillers are generally centered around lies, passion, mystery, and betrayal. The suspense is simply what draws you in—once you've been hooked, it consumes you and keeps you guessing until the very last page (sometimes quite literally)!

Most people call me Sophia or Sophie, but I also go by my nickname, "soap" (yes, as in hand "soap")! I was given my nickname by a friend back in grade school, and it's stuck ever since.
